smell of rubber...
· the smell of rubber from the warehouses and the murky water of Singapore River filled with tongkang as one crosses from Eu Tong Sen St to Hill St on the way to school

... talking of rubber, the term "rubber check" means a check (cheque) that bounces...
ReplyDeleteIt is also a fairly descriptive term for a device made of rubber that checks (prevents) the movement of items from one place to another by acting as a barrier ... any guesses?
